Absorbing the winter sun is a lime stone fireplace which is just one of the features of the lounge room. Attention to detail and automation has created an elegant home with country charm and the best of technology.
The existing cedar clad residence was well built, though no thought had been given to positioning. Both the view and solar aspects where lacking. The renovation used the existing foot print and rearranged the internal layout.
The original living area faced south west with views of a retaining wall. By rearranging the internal layout we were able to move the living areas to take advantage of the views and capture the northern sun, then create spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom and walk in robe.
