Grevillea II, is a modern, single-level, passively designed home, that complements both her natural and nautical surroundings. The blueprint was planned and designed to balance solar gain and that of the small building site of 451m2 which was of significant importance. The overall design was mapped around the solar access and prevailing winds of the local, coastal area.
Grevillia II was designed and built with absolute ying and yang of embodied energy balancing that of thermal mass and lightweight construction. Whilst always incorporating “Green Smart” principals, techniques, concepts, and materials.
