The leafy suburb of Bateau Bay situated on the Central Coast is home to this unique residence. The Tank House fits its environment beautifully with the wonderful use of composite materials.

The colours encapsulate the surrounding trees, and the use of stone and hardwood gives the home the strength to live a long life in this environment. Clever zoning gives a small home the feel of space without losing individual privacy.

Though a contemporary design, this home still has the feeling of a cosy home.

The large expanse of northern louver and fixed windows brings the outside in, with natural sunlight, fresh air and leafy views.

A mix of old and new in both design and materials.

I originally approached Rustic Touch to design and build a new home for myself and family based on the quality of their designs and their reputation. I was not disappointed. Both Antony and Debra took their time to listen to my brief on my expectations for our home; a well built family home that took advantage of the land area, northern aspect, and coastal breezes in the most energy efficient way that we could afford. But above all; we wanted a home that would grow with our family from preschool aged children to independent young adults that would require their own privacy. And they delivered.

We are very pleased with the quality of the design and finish, and the understanding that Antony and Debra showed to deliver our very comfortable, energy efficient, happy and healthy home.
